Hi, I'm Kartik - a User Experience Designer
Recently, I worked as a UX Research Intern at Google where I learned what people need and want from Verily Clinical Watch and evaluated its user experience. I conducted independent research, analyzed real user behavior and worked with Interaction Designers, Industrial Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to improve Information Architecture for this clinical watch to add new features.
Currently, in my second-year masters at Indiana University, I am designing and testing prototypes of the new technology, called Power to the Patient, the team led by Richard J. Holden. I am collaborating with researchers at Parkview Health and Health Innovation Lab at IUPUI to design novel interactive prototypes to support older adults with chronic heart failure self-care management.
In my first year masters at IUPUI, I worked as a UX designer and researcher for Dr. Aqueasha Martin-Hammond and her team at IUPUI, where I designed technology to help older adults manage personal health record using MIHA: Multimodal Intelligent Health Assistant for Older Adults
In the past, I have worked as a UX Designer for L&T Infotech and Innovations where I collaborated with development teams and delivered low and high fidelity design solutions for a range of Fortune 500 clients including Citibank, BBT Bank, Nets E-commerce, Nordea, NBC Universal, and Qatar Stock Exchange.
I'm a communicator, a storyteller and a collaborator with a consistent, structured approach and a keen eye for detail.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my site!
